Em'edge is provided by Owami Dayi, an individual sole trader ("Em'edge", "we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use Em'edge, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
You must be of legal age in your country to enter into a contract. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything that happens under your account, and for giving us accurate information and keeping it up to date.
Em'edge is a digital self-improvement web application. It gives you a daily focus, three daily actions, a nightly reflection, an optional community area, and plans generated with the help of artificial intelligence. It is a productivity and motivation tool only. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such.
Daily plans and actions are generated automatically from the information you provide. Output may sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. You decide what to act on, and you remain responsible for your own choices and results. You must have the right to share anything you enter, and you must not enter unlawful, hateful, abusive or infringing content. We may remove content and restrict or filter output where necessary.
You must not:
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Em'edge for your own personal use, within whatever access you have paid for. We retain ownership of Em'edge and all intellectual property in it, including the software, content and branding. You keep ownership of what you write; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely so we can provide the service to you.
We work to keep Em'edge running well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, currency, tax, renewal and cancellation mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. The 30-day plan unlock is a one-time purchase. The War Room membership is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
See our Refund Policy.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, do not pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously break our acceptable use rules. You can stop using Em'edge at any time. When access ends you may request an export of your entries within 30 days, after which your data may be deleted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. You agree to cover claims arising from your own content or your unlawful or non-compliant use of the service.
We may update these terms as Em'edge develops. Where changes are significant we will tell you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law in your country of residence says otherwise. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours as part of a business sale or reorganisation. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond their reasonable control.
